A – CLASS MODALITY

1 - In person: The teacher will commute to the location designated by CMA CGM for the classes.

2 - Virtually: CMA CGM team members can attend their classes online if needed.

3 - Hybrid (in person and virtual): The E1M methodology allows students to attend classes in either modality, both individually and in groups. This means each student has the flexibility to join classes either through their electronic device (cell phone, tablet, computer) or in person.

B – USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES

1 - Throughout its more than 11 years of service, the E1M methodology has been delivered in different formats: classes where students use only two physical notebooks and a pen; classes where these tools are replaced by a cell phone, tablet, or computer; and classes that combine both physical and digital tools. For practicality, E1M recommends that CMA CGM members opt for digital tools. However, if CMA CGM management prefers any of the other alternatives, they will also lead to equally successful results.

C – WHATSAPP SUPPORT (Asesoría de WhatsApp)

1 - A key component of E1M’s global success is the integration of the WhatsApp app into its academic program. Through this platform, each student receives constant support from their teacher throughout the day. The academy’s full commitment to each student is a crucial factor in the strong reputation of our methodology. This continuous guidance will play a very important role in helping students achieve remarkable results in a short period of time, according to their own schedules and availability, adjusted to the rhythm of their daily lives both inside and outside CMA CGM’s facilities.

D – MAKE-UP CLASS

1 - Additionally, all E1M classes are recorded, allowing students to watch any class they missed afterward. This is known as a “Make-up Class,” or, in Spanish, "Clase de Reposición."

2 - To encourage students to make their best effort to attend classes live (either in person or online), a deduction will be applied at the end of the month, during payroll, for each missed class. The amount will be determined by CMA CGM. To provide an example, in the current E1M program, external students pay an additional fee of approximately $25,000 COP for each make-up class. This is one of the ways the program motivates students to attend classes consistently. In the E1M's program provided for CMA CGM, this deduction will not be executed or received by E1M. It is strictly an internal company process, carried out by CMA CGM, and exists solely as an incentive for students to attend class live, which means that E1M will not get any kind of profit from this deduction.

E – ATTENDANCE AND GRADING SYSTEM

1 - E1M has a highly structured and effective system for tracking attendance, grades, and points, tested throughout hundreds of students across different countries and environments, successfully proving its efficacy. This system will also be implemented in the CMA CGM + E1M program.

F – SLOT TRANSFER

1 - In the event that a student decides, for any reason, not to continue their process with E1M, their full or partial slot may be transferred to any member of the company, at the company’s discretion, so that the selected person can benefit from the process and receive the academic results of the program.
